Description

This course aims to raise awareness and understanding of the MCA and DoLS. The focus of this training is on adults, not children and young people.

Objectives:

• To understand why we have the MCA
• To know the five statutory principles of the MCA
• To discuss best interests decisions
• To be aware of how we can plan ahead
• To understand DoLS

Audience:

Social care staff that require a basic awareness of MCA / DoLS

This course is free to Sefton Council Staff and Adult Social Care services in Sefton.

A charge of £30.00 applies to all other groups.
