Manual Handling at Work

Introduction

This training is aimed at those staff that may be required to move and handle inanimate objects and loads at work. The course will equip the learner with an awareness of moving and handling hazards and injuries, practical skills to prevent injury and work safely and guidance on undertaking a Risk Assessment on a Manual Handling task.

Apart from Schools, this course is free for Sefton Council employees. Charges apply for all other organisations: 

  • Individual license - £32 per person 
  • Group license (more than 10) - £27 per person
